The bags are packed (think Inca stone-work in terms of snugness), anything that is likely to perish within the next 10 years has been tossed into the bin, and we are about to 'hurry up and wait' for the Happy Cabby (will advise later if this is an accurate description).

The AVIS rent-a-car bloke took a look at what we were lugging through Auckland Airport, and enquired whether we wanted a bigger car. It fits, but takes some planning.
