You've come a long way baby...

Friday 26th March.
The Happy Cabby was perhaps more ambitious / loose on traffic safety than cheerful per se. Aside from smelling as though the interior had been hosed out with a vanilla air-freshener, the trip to Syndey was incident free. The driver was unaware however, that an infant would need more than a cushion thrown on the back seat. We both agreed it was best that we used our own baby capsule.

Today, 27th March. Today was a big day. We arose at 5am to catch our taxi at 6am - who continued the theme of adventurous driving and poor baby capsule insight. In an apparent role-reversal, we found the check-in lady clinically detached with just a hint of bitterness, while the Customs Officials were chatty and relaxed.

The trip over was great, the Martin kiddies outshone their kiddie rivals in the 'not having a tanty' stakes. We took a happy snap of the kids at the arrivals section of Auckland airport.
There we stayed for about an hour while sirens and evacuation warnings sounded at regular intervals. On the up-side, we not only survived my driving to the Hotel, it is lovely and right in the centre of the city.

  1. Love those cute leggings Lily and that wild T-shirt Hamish, not to mention the very relaxed and cool Joshua relaxing with his puppy. All are smiling happily after the flight OS, I guess the airline food would be one reason.
Where is the stress-free picture of Mum and Dad?
    Enjoy, Poppa
